About library
František Bartoš Regional Library is a public library with universal library
holdings and the regional centre of library, bibliographical and information services for the
public libraries of the Zlín Region. The promoter of the Library is the Zlín Region.
The Library provides service in the following departments:
- Section for Adults (fiction, technical and natural sciences, social
sciences)
Mon - Fri 10 a. m. - 6 p. m., Sat 9 a. m. - 12 noon
- Section for Children
Mon - Fri 10 a. m. - 5 p. m., closed Weds.
- Section for Youth (for 14-18 years old)
Mon - Fri 12 a. m. - 5 p. m., closed Weds.
- Study and Reading Room (and Summer Reading Room)
Mon - Fri 10 a. m. - 6 p. m., Sat 9 a. m. - 12 noon
- Music Department
Mon - Fri 2-6 p. m., closed Weds. + Tue 9-11 a. m.
- Sound Library for Sight Impaired
Tue 9-11 a. m.
The Library also offers the following services:
- Photocopying from books
- Access to the Internet
- Graphic processing and printing of all types of printed matter up to A3 format using
offset technique
 For handicapped
citizens, there is an elevator to all
departements.
